Hello there. Looking for advice and/or support on trapping/hunting coyotes. They have been terrorizing my chickens and ducks for the past few months and lately have been attacking during the day about once a day.
I had a local animal/pest control company who does larger animals come out and survey- they wanted $700 for one week of trapping with no guarantee of capture. They recommended posting on Facebook or a forum to see if someone would want to do it for free or for the land access - I’m on about 40 acres of nicely wooded private land.
I’m open to trying to take care of it myself as well, but don’t really know the first place to start… I should probably note at some point that I’m a woman, and don’t have a lot of experience hunting/trapping… suggestions and resources welcome!

That’s actually not a bad price for time equipment supplies If you’re into DYI then watch YouTube videos and you’ll get the gist of how to trap
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

check with your local conservation office. one of the guys in our area came out and set four traps for me when I wasn't able to connect with any coyote after unsuccessful attempts. i learned what i was doing wrong.

Google your local trappers association, you may find someone willing to trap. I don't know if live market trapping is allowed in Georgia or not, if so someone may be interested in catching them. The fur markets are in the gutter now and a lot of folks have quit trapping.
