It doesn’t seem to matter if I use a regular razor or an electric one, it irritates the heck out of my neck and makes it rashy looking……What’s y’alls go to after shave to prevent or help this??? ….Hai Karate???

I honestly dont use anything and I shave with a single blade safety razor. The difference is shave in the hot shower. If I try that thing at the sink it tears me up and pulls like crazy. Just try shaving in the shower.

My father always said that he used warm water to soften the hair but shaved rinsing with cold water to cut down on the irritation. 🤷🏻♂️

I don't use nothing. I just shave when i get out of the shower, i quit getting razor bumps (from shaving) 25 years ago. It's funny seeing my boys get it now though 😄
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

I'm "fair complected" and have sensitive skin so I've been bad in the past about walking around looking like a bum instead of shaving......Trying to shave more regularly but dang it irritates my face and neck

Sit in the shower as hot as you can stand it for 5-10min..git out an go shave…jump back in after an wash off cold as you can stand it…i use a safety razor an mix up duke cannon shavin soap…when i rinse off..i dry my face good with a towel and i use clubman after shave or rubbin alkyhol

My father always said that he used warm water to soften the hair but shaved rinsing with cold water to cut down on the irritation. 🤷🏻♂️ don't shave against the grain/nap This is what I always did before my beard and it helped. I would use Brut or Afta. Way easier just to grow a beard.

1. I shave in the shower.
2. I put lotion on my face after I get out of the shower. Same. Usually use Old Spice in summer. If my skin's dry or in winter, I'll use some Nivea lotion with cocoa butter.

Another vote for shaving in the shower. I don’t even use shaving cream or anything. Just the razor on the skin. I also don’t use aftershave. The hot water from the shower is the best way for me.
