Lowe's is keeping very few fridges in stock at local stores and is promising to deliver from their regional warehouse in 4 to 5 weeks the fridge you've paid for.

Even after paying for a model that Lowe's said they have 151 of in the warehouse, they never were able to ship one to my house and finally issued a refund after keeping my money for a month.

They apparently use some flawed, malfunctioning system called "Third Party Delivery" that's causing them all sort of delivery headaches. Even the store manager finally admitted that I was never going to get my fridge even though I had paid my money up front.

********

Why are fridges hard to find here in the greatest country on earth? Do we not make any here in the US any more? And how did Lowe's get to be such a successful company taking people's money and not delivering the product?
