Buying gas in Cleveland AL. Camel riders have bought up all the gas stations except one and they cant seem to grasp the concept that a gas station needs to have fuel to sell or the principle that there is maintanence to do on gas pumps to do in order for them to function properly. Every store the camel riders buy turns to crap in a hurry. The only white person who owns a store has made a living all her life overcharging her home town and when asked why she charges so much she says "because i can". If i run out of gas at her store, i would walk to the camel riders store down the road and tote the gas back to my truck. That is all.

My wife’s uncle owns a gas station in Winston county. They don’t make anything on the gas, but snacks and alcohol are where it’s at. Obviously you need gas to have customers to buy the other stuff.

Free is correct. Convenient stores make their money on the inside.

They have hot drinks and warm beer in most of those stations. We are living in a third world country and don’t even know it.

Is the Tonk the woman owned starion? I use to get breakfast there if I was passing through but I always tried to have enough gas to go elsewhere.

A couple of the ones here, that bought bigger stores, have teamed up with some local country bbq folks who know what they’re doing (cooking on site and selling out of the store kitchen) and do better on that side, but still so warm in the store that all the Snickers, etc melds to the wrapper in a gooey mess. Drinks are warm in the “coolers”, too, if you don’t get a fountain drink with your plate. The smaller stores get by on selling Kratum, bath salts, and whatever the fake weed was everybody smoked to get around whiz quizzes (one molecule from thc, chemically engineered). A couple of local family owned companies that had all but a few of the quick stop/gas marts in town have aged out and sold off. Most of both families’ stores in town are middle eastern owned, now, except for the newer modern ones.

Tonka sold out to the camel riders. No American wanted to buy it. She was ready to retire. She owned that store since i was a kid, never ran out of gas once

Most all the country convenient stores here is Indian owned especially in southern tn where I work . I do not do business with them

Same way up here. I only know of one in SE Madison/N Marshall county that is owned by a Caucasian American born person and his store is for sale. I usually stop at Mapco, at least the store don't stink.

I don’t like when folks are standing in line for 10 minutes and they don’t take their card out of their wallet or purse until after they’ve been rung up. It’s a waste of people’s time. I’ve heard the margins for Indian owned stores are a heck of a lot better than say if domestic folks owned it, something to do with a sin tax exemption as long as the individual stores change ownership while also staying in the immediate family. I really don’t know though I’ll ask my buddy Smiley about it next time I see him

And can fix broken chitter in any of them. They put nothing in to maintenance the bare minimum

She’s right, she can. Thanks to capitalism. Sounds to me since you don’t like middle eastern owned stores or supporting the white lady you should probably plan ahead and get gas prior to Cleveland.

Plenty of americans wanted to buy it and tried, no bank would make a loan on it to an american. Its all set jp for indians to buy them, our goverment hives them the down payment and its backed by the goverment. Whits cant get it and its a messed up system
