All of my family cooks biscuits, but my wife’s grandmother kept her flour in a large, wide plastic container with a lid. She would just pour the milk directly in the middle of the flour and pull flour toward the middle and make a dough ball. Then she would transfer it to the counter and make the biscuits. Never seen anybody else do it like that. I can make biscuits but I usually just make it like cornbread and cut it after I cook it.
