It’s ridiculous anyway. We could have an open season to every interested hunter, and the population would probably still keep growing. I doubt it would decline. But so what if it did.
But a regular hunting season wouldn't make the dcnr any extra money, so that will never be considered. Their business plan is to sell us hunting and fishing experiences. The idea of serving the people was tossed about 20 years ago and I don't see them ever going back.
