I’m an outboard mechanic so that’s no big deal to me, I just haven’t had time to do so. It’s been on my to do list.

If your looking at the 4 strokes look for the gen2 versions. I've got a first gen 25hp yamaha and it's heavy on a 14x48, the gen2 is supposed to be lighter then the 2 stroke versions. I think mine is over 200lbs.

Been looking for a boat to stick it on, but may be easier to part with the motor and buy a used boat/motor package. Would need to check year and think about what I would be willing to take to let it go.
