a grown man ought to have a truck. Good luck.

I know several people with mavericks and all are very pleased. One is a painter with several and his crew likes the lower bed to unload 5 gallon paint buckets.

Mavericks are scaled for midgets and children. People can’t comprehend how small they are until you’re beside them. My 14yr old son can’t even sit behind the wheel without his head being in the headliner. Yes he’s 6ft tall BUT they are TINY. F150 on the right, Maverick in the middle, Ranger on the left

It's a bite sized truck... maybe like an old Dodge Rampage, or Chevy Luv...
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

The eco boost AWD Maverick can be spec’ed with a 4,000lbs tow package. I really want to see Toyota enter this truckette/Ute space with a Rav4 hybrid AWD based Ute.
Few will admit but this Maverick/similars will do more than enough for many truck owners especially 1/2ton. But this is Aldeer…thus everyone needs a F450 with heavy haul gears. When I retire, I'll probably go with the F450 to pull my 38' travel trailer around.

That thing is a real beast. So basically youre saying if you hook a 20 ft tandem axle trailer to it with a little 35 hp tractor with a disk or bushhog on it, youre going to bottom out the suspension and probably pop the front tires off the ground. Seemed absurdly low so I just looked up my daughters Honda civic and it has a max tow capacity of 3300 lbs. A maverick may be called a truck but it is really just a small car with a bed on it, just big enough to haul a small bicycle or a couple half sheets of plywood or maybe a couple cases of beer. I'll take the Civic over the Maverick. LOL. And for the record, Eclipse829 ^^^^that's a pretty good one. Still laughing about it.

My BIL waited over a year for his maverick and would have been better off putting a motor on his wheelbarrow, which won’t fit in his “truck” by the way. He’s got a little trailer that he hauls a small riding mower on to cut grass at the church and it’ll be down in first gear and 11 mph to pull the little hill between his house and the church, he lives just outside of Charleston so think about the size of the hills there 😂. If your looking for something to ride around in a maverick is probably fine, if you think you need a truck you should probably buy a truck.

I’d get a used Nissan Frontier and drive the wheels off of it.
