I've never bare shafted over maybe 15 yards.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Who on here does it? Working with a new setup and been shooting bare shafts primarily for just over a week now. Running 1.5-2” high consistently on the bare shafts at 40yds. Left and right is spot on. She starts creeping up at 30yds. I’ve always just tuned to 20yds but wanted to try and get her good to 40. Is it worth it or what y’all think? I bareshaft tune with paper at about 7-8 steps. If I get bullet holes I fletch and go.

You’re 1.5” to 2” high at that distance due to the missing weight of the fletching. Probably losing 20 to 25 grains in total weight. Try adding tape to make up for the missing weight on the rear of the shaft.
