Would Jesus preach to a queer or lesbian? Or would he turn his back to them?

He would preach to them, of course, and tell them to "sin no more". Now, my question to you is this: If they said "no thanks Jesus, i am who i am", what would Jesus do then? That seems to be where we are with most of them.

Humans have a strong psychological need to “fit in”……..Most of these folks are different than the norm from the get go and find themselves as outcasts in school early on in life. In order to satisfy that desire to fit in they are drawn to and seek refuge in these alternative lifestyles. They form their identity around that before “sex” is even in the picture. When they get older they need their choices to be validated by others so they can feel normal. In a nutshell its mostly just a matter of children being brainwashed.

A buddy of mine at work said something the other day that his wife told him. She said she couldn’t understand why a lesbian didn’t want to be with a man then turns around a picks the most dike looking one trying to pass themselves off as a man? It’s a head scratcher, I told him I’d never thought of it like that but she has one of the best points I’ve heard. There is one working at Dollar General and she has that old angry non smiling face like the world has $#it in her cornflakes

Truth be told we probably all do bear a little responsibility for what has occurred….or many of us do…….Every boy is not going to be masculine and every girl is not going to be feminine but instead of making it ok for them to be different than the norm, what did we do to them in school?.....We made fun of them and called them faggots and dikes and forced them to seek these other groups where they could fit in. We told them that’s what they were and labeled them starting in 5th or 6th grade probably…..maybe even before then.

Now were at a stage of it where these people are adults looking for validation from society and so they are the ones telling kids that its ok to be like them and presenting them with the allure of that place where they can fit in. They leave out all the parts about how unfilled and miserable they are and that’s why they’re really there to brainwash them…..Its completely a self serving endeavor to try and make themselves feel better about the path they took in life.

Cnc, i dont reckon i bullied anybody in school, that i can remember. I never cared for bullies. I usually took up for the kids getting bullied and wound up in the office over it. But yeah, there was alot of bullying going on. One kid in a class i was teachers aide for got bullied so much, he killed himself that summer. I was in quite a few fights over that fella. Takes all kinds of folks to make a world i guess.

I think this is also why really smart people like Steve Jobs go down that path......They're different than everybody else and dont fit in to the norm. It seems like a lot of them are artistically inclined or they have engineering type minds.....and they just arent the prototypical masculine male.

But when you disobey the word and have them over for dinner, who's doing the changing, them or you. my thinking was perfectly normal in the 70's thru 90's, it's everyone else that's changed. second part of your question, I remember Jesus telling satan to "get behind me" in other words yes it's okay to turn your back on sin.

The spiritual diagnosis for borderline is jezebel spirit. I have run into multiple hetero women with BPD, and their underlying issue is not attaching to a nurturing parent early after childbirth. Then they grow up feeling like they are going to be abandoned. So they test who they are with.

Eventually the constant testing leads to what they fear the most, because they literally drive the person away with the testing. Marrying a woman with BPD in my exacerbates the issues, which seems counter intuitive, but that's been my experience.

Typically what you see is they go postal over some small minor issue , and nothing seems to calm the waters. Sometimes they leave. What they want is for you to cause after them, however that only makes the testing worse. Usually they will come around and seek you out again, and they will act like nothing happened. They will not see your side of what happened either. Sometimes it's hard to tell from narcissistic behavior. And expect to be heavily gaslighted.

It is all a HUGE discussion that’s for sure! It can be looked at from a hundred different perspectives! Therefore I just chose to follow God’s word. God’s word says we were made in his image and every life is critically important to him! To the point that he let his own son die a horrific death for us on the cross! Homosexuality is just a sin. However it is still a sin! I sin. You sin. We all sin. We have all earned Gods wrath and deserve to be punished for our sins.

So WWJD? He would love the homosexuals and tell him he came to save them from their sins! Just like he does for the rest of us!

Kicker is what would they do? Scary part is the more the world tells them that it is ok to live in their sun and to be proud of their sin….they are being decieved!

Just remember one thing, the sun of homosexuality is no different than any other sin out there. It is all the same in God’s eyes. Watch out for the wood plank!

I hear you guys and agree with you that the pendulum can’t swing too far either way. That said, it is an abomination to God. In my mind, that isn’t in dispute.

However, while I am no theonomist, my reading of Genesis 19 says God does exact revenge on this sin. The what would Jesus do isn’t as clear as indicated always.

I asked that question to challenge your response. I struggle with this as some family are rainbow people. They hate me when I respond with “Bible thumping” responses. I DO NOT have them for dinner nor do I associate myself with them in any way. I just let them know what I think the Bible tells me is wrong with their beliefs. I think theres alot of us in the same boat. I just think that we are past the point of changing them. At this point we are just trying to survive ourselves in this world and us not be softened to it.
