Greasy, dark meat is what I'm told. People I know that have tried it say the closest comparison I would know of is Wood Duck (the least palatable of the ducks I've eaten).
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Today's the day I actually post a pic I hope as mine have not loaded very well. Dang I had a cheap phone too long! We actually even hosted ole Bud Meadows aka aldeer resident Damn Yankee. Mr University of Michigan himself one evening at our campfire. Bud is migratory, forever Maise and Gold Blue and annually ends up in all places bullock county or across the ocean on a waterhole slaying african style.
And ughh woody not good. Dang I have to shoot corn fed ducks someday.

Allen: How have you been? Do you still hang out with your buddy Joey? If you want I’ll post some pics from my August 2022 Africa hunt.

Greasy like pork but stronger in flavor and not in a good way. I’m not a fan. What we didn’t give away was used for taco meat mostly. The cumin and garlic helped it a lot. Yeah, it's ok, but not great.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

How dare you speak of the woodie in this manor. I would like to know what wild duck species it is you speak of that your palate has lied to you about. All it takes is one “toooweeeeeet!” on a cool December morning to make my belly start to growl.

Bud those are massive trophies Zebra would be my number one if I could go. Joey remains a legend both in his mind, police jurisdiction of Butler and Lowndes and multiple social media websites where he uses his nefarious ways learnt as a 25 year computer database administrator Joey is awesome and I still try to get ole Warren Womack to come share another hunt. Allen: Kinda like this guy? Got him my first trip in 2012 https://imgur.com/a/YMlSoWE
