Does anyone know of a reputable transmission shop around Troy? My son is a student at Troy. He has a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder 4 wheel drive. Most likely needs transmission rebuilt or replaced. Trying to see if I would be better off bringing it back to Birmingham or get it worked on there. Thanks for any info.

There is one in Montgomery, Montgomery Transmission Specialist. Eddie has been doing transmissions for decades and has always done great work. Only guy I'd let touch mine back when I drove stuff that broke.
