I’m just speculating here but I think we’re probably just “shooting” ourselves in the foot by killing them. Numerous studies show their main diet consisting mostly of rodents and rabbits. According to studies its actually very rare for them to eat quail or turkeys. I’m sure some will think otherwise but that’s what the numbers show…….Wiping out bobcats is very likely just feeding more rodents to the hawks and owls and increasing their populations. Just something to ponder over when you look up and see the sky full of flying cats.

i was told their biggest adversary was yotes and that they would kill yote pups given the chance. I imagine they also help with coons and possums.
