I'm afraid a large area of Eufaula took a direct hit. The debris ball is enormous

We have a few Aldeer folks there on the southside of town. Looks like it went directly over their shop. They make UHMW parts for paper mills. Can't remember their names to save my life right now.

That area definitely got hit. Hope they are ok. Watch the CC loop, you can see the tight debris ball then watch it a few frames past that and you can see the storm eject the debris eastward.

One guy here owns Poly-Fabricators in Eufala. They aren't answering the phone.

Bright shining sun right now in mobile, but the wind is kicking like a 1-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

The second round this evening is going to be ROUGH. Been watching several supercells moving thru texas that will later affect us. They have been sustained for hundreds of miles, one has a significant tornado now. Looking to be setting up into a long-tracking tornado event later. Hopefully dies down

Y'all pay attention to Slipinlipjr. He knows more about the weather and predicting it than most tv meteorologists. I always wondered Ronnie, how did you get such an interest and how did you get educated on it?

I watched a tornado move through a field on River Road when I was probably 5. No warning or anything. Been hooked ever since. I've learned how to read all the charts and figure out how to interpret what the upper atmosphere is doing. I don't trust the NWS in Birmingham. They've already missed a storm this morning that should have been warned on in Russell County. I don't trust the National Hurricane Center either. The available energy for these storms are off the charts. A lot of meteorologists will tell you they've never seen a setup like this in Alabama in June.

I don't remember a fog in june like we had this morning. I knew something was gonna be up.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I sure hope the supercell approaching Albany Georgia dies. Lots of folks in the path. And that cell south of it is the most significant rotation of the day so far.

Baseball size hail. I'd just get out of the way of that one. The height of these storms to the west are insane. Oklahoma can have their weather back now. We don't like it.

I'm hoping the Derecho setting up later thru Mississippi dies before hitting us. That will be some extremely rare widespread June damage. Crazy to thing of 80-100mph winds for hundreds of miles
