Watched one strutt on a youth deer hunt with a good friends son. We were hunting wma my friend was the biologist on some 20 years ago. More of dominance deal, pecking order.

This gobbler was strutting band breeding these hens. Once again a totally different reason
Were these Jennie’s or hens that lost nest? I’m betting most lost nest but then again they didn’t present an ID
They’ve been hanging around his house once March. Totally wild birds, not hunted but wild.
