I hit a flying skeet one time with 00 buckshot. Your shot on that turkey has me beat. If I had known the shot wasnt going to expand I doubt I would have shot. I would have at least waited until he stopped. It was probably more luck than skill. I always like a full choke when I waterfowl hunt too. lol. This is probably my best shot with witnesses. He was crossing in a good wind at a fast speed. When your name gets called in the pit a hit always feels better than a wiff. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/jjsXVF0S/KIMG0149.jpg)

I watched my friend shoot one in Oklahoma with that same load at 53 yards this spring. It absolutely hammered him. I was impressed enough that I have started working on building a 20 gauge for next spring. Anyway, he just started shooting a 20 with tss, so he has only killed about 3 turkeys with it. So far, he hasn't had an issue like this.
I also see a few negative comments about Longbeard XR's and Winchester ammunition in general, but those Longbeard XR's have been very good for me.

Longbeards will not eject in my A 5 browning. They are just a shade too long and hang up. I had no problem with them killing.
Grandma said...Always keep a gun close at hand, you just never know when you might run across some varmint that needs killing...
