It would be nice if more dedicated turkey guns were made like this. I don’t even use a red dot, I prefer open sights. I’m left handed so that’s why I wanted it. I don’t like the mossberg actions compared to my 870, but overall this gun is nice. And it shoots wonderful.

I can see that being a plus for a left handed person.
