I wouldn’t count Brooks out just yet. Wish Phil had just gotten a few strokes in some of his previous rounds before he went on that run. He is headed in the wrong direction; just bogeyed 12 to go +5 for the day; and 3 back, no birdies in 22 holes.

Just started watching dang. Seems a bunch skipped church and family time to go see golf. Damn sinners. I went to 7:30 service with my daughter and then went to breakfast. I hope PR won't stone me along with the rest of the heathens.

Good match I didn’t either but Brooks is in his own head. If you watch the Netflix documentary called full swing I think it follows him last year and he was an absolute head case. It’s hard for me to imagine having that much skill and still being doubtful when I step up to hit a ball. If I break 90 now I’m strutting like Tiger down 18 on Augusta, hahaha

I watched really good golfers lose it all. Back in the 80s the golf swing was broken down and analyzed. It was called the machine. Some really good chased the perfect swing down that rabbit hole and was ruined. Tiger had the mental aspect of the game won. He absolutely thrived under pressure. Very few could ever come close to his mental game. Brooks may never have that aspect during some majors. We will see
