Any of yall using drones at night to figure out where the turkeys are roosting? Seems like it would be an incredible tool especially on public land? Anyone who would resort to such a tactic would probably shoot a Hen Turkey or a Spotted Fawn!!

If I start knocking them down too fast I lose my enthusiasm.
Not a problem I’ve ever had to deal with.

Too rainy to fish outside?? 😂😂 It would be a great way to get a number on them when the leaves were off the trees. There’s actually a guy in west al. that has started doing that for deer and probably anything else you want to know about your property, or the property you want to buy or lease. Don’t remember his name or the company, but I do remember his drone costing a little over $16K. 😳 Right but was watching these drone deer recoveries and they see all konds of critters. That got me thinking about seeing turkeys. Which got me thinking about how much more efficient a drone could make hunting public ground I may get me one and see if it works for turkeys in the national forest

I’ve heard about a guy that uses one to find birds roosted on the edges of big fields. At some point technology will have to be banned from hunting/fishing. I would bet in 10 years or so you’ll see a reduction in the limit of crappie because of all the crappie pros livescope has made. I bet drones are banned before livescope cause there are some guys already using drones to find deer and turkey. Crappue are so plentiful I dont know that livescooe can hurt their #s

We never catch but a few 1# or under fish and the last three years we’ve only caught less and less each year. Between cormorants and a healthy bass population I think they’ve destroyed the crappie. We only allowed 5 per person per day but have only allowed them to be kept one of the last three years. Our average crappie will weigh around 1.5-2#. It’s pretty crazy.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I remember back in the days of dog hunting you would get a ticket if caught using CB radios to run down deer.

I'm a dog hunter and I dont know anyone who runs dogs without some sort of a radio.
