Turkey hunting or going to the Master's. Guess which one I chose? By the way, for several years in a row.

You are trying to kill one of the dumbest animals in the world, yet you have a problem with someone watching golf? Different strokes for different folks!

As much as I love to Turkey hunt, you crazy for not jumping on the opportunity to go…I’ve been once and it’s incredible.

I did for years and now I regret never going to The Masters. My wife’s father lived for golf along with her family. They couldn’t understand me not wanting to go. They are all gone and she lost possession of the 4 family tickets for her family. Long story but not really. Anyways her grandfather on her mothers side was good friends with Bobby Jones. Her most embarrassing moment was her father telling Fuzzy he’s coming over the top, stay down and through the ball. She said fuzzy said a few choice words, shook his head and walked off. LOL
They always booked a house on the course and stay the week. Sell their tickets on Sunday to pay for the trip and head home to watch the last day in tv. One could see the final much better that way.

I played for UNA during the 80s and hit a long ball. Couldn’t score for squat, poor putter.

One of the few regrets I have.

I love golf and I went to The Masters for the weekend in 2014. I'm glad I did it but have zero desire to ever go back. Cool experience but it's way better watching it on TV, in my opinion.

Brooks is gonna be hard to beat tomorrow. I hope Sam B (A) finishes top 5. Pretty sad story about his dad getting Alzheimer at 45.

His dad said this to him. His dad wrote it on a sheet of paper. They had to help his dad make the letters. Sam had is tattooed on his forearm.

I did both one year. Went turkey hunting in the morning and went to the Masters that afternoon.

You know - they guys that wish we all would dir - remember thise guys ??? 🤣🤣. So whiny r not - what they are doing could hurt an american tradition and an american business and why guys like JT - tiger - etc hav nothing to do w it - showing some backbone and character. America is in a big enough down spiral to hope the freaking turbin heads kick us in the nutts. Something they want to do anyway

You’re dead on T-Dog. I don’t fault a person for wanting to do better for their family but when they do it with money that’s dipped in American blood I personally don’t support it.

I’ll never understand people clicking on a Masters thread to tell people they don’t understand why people like the Masters laugh

But; they love to watch fish swimming around on a 20" screen on their boat.
Let everybody enjoy what ever they enjoy; I love turkey hunting but my trip to the Master's was memorable.
Looks like a 2 man race right now; I will pull for Rahm. Not a fan of the Saudi money thing and he has a hawt wife smile

I went to practice round in ‘97 when Tiger won his first one. I’ve got a hat someplace that I would love to get Tiger to sign. It was an amazing experience and I’m not a huge golf fan. I bet I haven’t played more than a dozen rounds in my life but I love watching the Masters. And I’ve never missed a single day of turkey hunting watching the Masters.

That kid is awesome. I’d love to see him win it especially as an amateur

This is a thread about the Masters. If you and tdog are questioning my patriotism because I’m pulling for a 54 player, you don’t want to go there.
