Trump is in Florida. The case is a New York State case, not federal. Trump can go to New York voluntarily or he can sit his happy butt in Florida. At that point, the state of NY will have to petition the State of Florida to pick him up and extradite him to NY. Anyone care to guess who has the final say as to whether FL will honor NY’s request? The only tactic DeSantis can do is delay the extradition. US Constitution says states must honor extradition requests between each other. DeSantis may not use Florida resources to arrest Trump, but that limits him to just Florida. Hard to campaign for President when you can't leave the state. Need to keep in mind how important the 7 swing states are.

Secondly, Georgia has yet to unseal their grand jury indictments on election interference. That is a possible state felony if Trump is listed on the indictment.
