You have got an 80' pine that is 3'-4' at base, you have been poisoning it to kill it, knowing that if it falls it's gonna land on his property and possibly on his house?

Pay someone to cut it down and move on with life.
A good neighbor is worth the price of the tree job.
Keeping a good neighbor is worth even more.
Not to mention by posting that on social media he has now become liable for any damage that might happen should it fall on his neighbors property.
