Mine goes through attic. Shi$TY design.
I disconnected through roof part, so it vents to attic.
To clean downspout to dryer i use a 20ft extention pole with a
Rounded soft bristle brush.
Cleans it great. Are you saying you disconnected your through roof portion and just vent your dryer into your attic? If so, wouldnt that cause mold and potential rotten wood due to the warm moist air being pumped into the attic? Stays dry and i clean up residual lint occasionally. The through the roof part was getting completely clogged. Lint isnt made to float 40+ft through an attic.
