My wife was cleaning our bathroom and when she was deep cleaning the toilet, flushed it before realizing her wedding ring had fallen off her hand. Besides removing the toilet and checking the trap and wax ring area what other options do i have??
sorry forgot to add its on septic and NOT sewer

Turkey’s tell you when they want to die not lawmakers.
Sad news. Gonna have to pull it at least but I wouldn't get my hopes up. If your on a tank system most likely there

Septic tank or city sewer? Septic tank it’s still close by? Don’t run any other water which feeds into that pipe? City sewer it may still be in the pipe same advice don’t run any water in the pipes? ?? Just what I can think of.???
There is not a trap on the line leaving the toilet - it is built-in to the toilet. IF you are exceptionally lucky - it is still in the bowl. You can try to take the bowl off and shake it - but, I’m afraid it is gone.

Option 1 pull toilet or call a plumber and see if they have a camera Option 2 if not in toilet call the local turd wrestlers and pump the tank Option 3 go get another ring
Depending on how your septic is routed it may be in the pipe or the box before the septic tank. There's usually a port on the line between the house and the box or septic tank, too. You can disconnect and flush to get it out.
I didn't know the box before the septic tank existed before I had work done. Digging up the box, if you do have one on your system, is a several hundred dollar bill.
This crap, ha ha, adds up fast. A ring upgrade may be the thing.

Pump the tank. Tell pumper truck to take to a local wastewater plant and you follow them there. The septic will be filtered out through a screen which you would have to go through all the screenings. You could possible find it or it will settle out right before the screen at the wastewater plant and likely not find it at that point. That is my best thought.
Ask a reputable septic guy for advice. Never know they may have faced the situation before. Maybe they can pull the lid and use a gold-tuned metal detector. Pump the liquid then shovel full by shovel full “screen” for treasure
