McGuires and iron restaurant and bonellis rated the highest currently - others like Jackson's and fish house not far behind

If you like Italian, Angelina’s downtown is really good.

McGuire’s is my pick for P’cola proper if I have one choice. But I don’t go there for a steak. I eat steak at home unless it’s hanger steak I can’t source easily. I get get the pub sausage plate or shepherd’s pie with a red ale or a porter(or three) respectively.
On P’cola beach, Flounders or Joe Patties for seafood. It’s been a while but there was a burger place in Seville quarter called the Tin Cow. That was really good.

If money is t an issue, try Jackson’s.

As someone who grew in Pcola this is complete gospel - word for word. Mesquite Chariles was so better than Coach and Four too.

The hell you say. Back with the original owners, Coach and Four was the best steak in Pensacola.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

IRON for dinner
George for brunch (make reservations now)
Fish House is great but not if you're looking for white tablecloth fine dining
The Grand Marlin

McGuires is good and a staple down there but definitely not for a fine dining dinner
Jaco's is good and on the water (brunch and make reservations)
New Yorker is great for a great sandwich
O'Brien's Bistro we love

We don't eat out a lot at fine dining down when we go down there but we've hit all the above and they are all good

Drive over to Ivey's in Robertsdale, get the stuffed filet. You can thank me later.

Mesquites was the best steakhouse in Pcola. No idea why they closed. Never went there when there wasnt a wait. McGuires is decent but it always takes a while to get sat and their food, while decent, isnt worth and hour wait. Jackson's has a really good steak but like I said above, I'd take Ivey's in Robertsdale over Jacksons all day long. You'll also get out for about $70 less than you would at Jackson's.

I forgot about George on 9th avenue. They have some very unique dishes and a renowned chef. Try their bone marrow appetizer and you will be hooked!

Thanks for the recommendations. We went to McGuire’s in Destin back in December and it was absolute garbage. Don’t know that I’ll ever be back.

Gather in atmore is damn fine! A bit of a drive from pcola though. Grand marlin is really good. Bob White wouldn’t know a good steak if it jumped up and kicked him in his old arse. Coach and Four is absolute SHITE!

What i was saying was, back when you were still $hitting yellow, that place had a great steak. Today, not so much.

Respect your Elders, sonny!

And Grand Marlin is a Yuppie place. Been once, and all I saw were a bunch of Biff's and Buffy's. Hell, they asked me to park my pickup around back!
