Hoping someone already has an ounce per gallon mixture for Clethodim and 2-4DB to spray clover with. Also how many ounces per gallon of surfactant? I haven’t calibrated my sprayer so that’s why im asking about ounces per gallon instead of per acre rates.

I usually do 1 oz. of clethodim and 1 oz. of crop oil per gallon of water. With 24DB I do 2-3 oz. per gallon of water and don't use any crop oil.

You HAVE TO KNOW how many gallons it takes YOUR setup to cover an acre, no need to go any farther until u know that. then refer back to that bundle of paper on the side of the jug as to the amount needed to spray an acre.

I do .2 to .3 oz of 2,4db per gallon, and 12 oz of cleth in my 26 gallon tank. I use about 16 oz of nitro surf for a surfactant. I mix both herbicides in the same tank.

That's the rumor. I do it anyway. If there is grass in clover.

Clethodim can cause antagonism when mixed with some 2,4-D products, so is generally discouraged. I believe the issue is with the amine form, and esters should work fine.
If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

Supposedly hurts the clover I haven't noticed that. Clover is pretty robust. Most people claim you can spray clover with a quart of glyphosate per acre for weed control. I haven't tried that yet. My clover fields the loggers drove all over have all come back too.

Ended up going with this rate in my 25 gallon tank over the weekend. 8 ounces of 2-4DB, 12 ounces of Clethodim, 16 ounces of surfactant.
