Shhh there’s no way I would have got in the water to revive that thing and I’m sure once they got it in they were tired of fooling with it. Most are males which are actually smaller in girth than the females. I had a friend catch one off Navarre a pier in the late 60’s that was 247lbs and another friend catch a ten footer around five years ago off Navarre pier. In the early eighties I had a huge female great white come right next to the boat and eat a 40lb bull dolphin I had on. I would have guessed it to be around 1500lbs. My buddy and I hollered great white at the exact same time. That is the only great white I have seen in all the years I’ve fished the gulf coast.
