Got a 6U Dixie Youth baseball player. Prolly have to coach. Looking for a few bats maybe a glove or two. Don’t care to pay. My kid will not need it, I’m looking for a few kids I know that will need it. Thanks
Bat size 25”-15oz 26”-16oz or 27” prefer with US stamp but not a have to

I don’t have anything to offer but I was talking to someone about this the other day….

Back when I was a kid, I had a handed down glove which I brought to practice. The coach had the ‘team bat’ the team ‘helmet(s), and team balls. These days it seems most kids have all of their own stuff, new $100 glove, $400 composite bat, and a custom helmet with their number on it. All of this is in a $150 boombah bag that has wheels on it so they don’t get too tired carrying it from the car to the field. It’s crazy.

Good for you for trying to round up some gear. I can’t imagine the insecure feeling a young kid may have if there parents couldn’t afford to compete with the baseball Jones’s.

You got my mindset without me having to go into details. I’m just hoping to get some fundamentals across and have a good time. Had the opportunity to play in 2 state championships, couple deep playoff runs, and never had that kind of stuff. Tryin to do my part in society.

This is 100% accurate. I’ve got kids in 8u coach pitch that have the newest $400 Demarini composite every spring. No matter what you say parents want to “look the part”

Can’t help you either but I’m coaching 6u for the first time this year and I just dropped $300 on gear to coach….balls, chest protector, face protector for the kid in the circle, and a few new things for my son.etc. and that doesn't include bat, glove, cleats etc that we already had. It’s expensive. They out grow everything so quick at this age this is our 4th season and we are on bat #2, glove #2, and cleats #3 all due to outgrowing.

Does the kid pull or carry the bat bag ? Travel ball I’ve seen the last few years momma does . Lol 😂 Good luck guys , proud some men still step up to coach and someone takes care of the ones who don’t have .

My dad bought a couple of bats for my girls at a yard sale thinking they were softball bats. If they're still at the house I'll find some way to get them to you. They're not the latest and greatest but they will work for some kid that doesn't have anything

You got kids that need something specific let me know what it is. I may not have it but I can get it. Heck I’ll buy gloves for kids if you tell me how many you need and I can buy a bat that they can all share. I’ll meet you with it.
