Choctaw Hunting Club
Long established club in Dale County near Echo with over 1200 acres of property. The property has hardwoods, pines in various stages, clear cut areas, several hundred yards of powerlines, 11 food plots, and 9 club shooting houses. The Choctawhatchee river borders the main tract. There is a 2 bedroom club house with heat and ac, bunks, full kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms, 2 showers, and skinning shed. Tractors and implements are provided for bush hogging and planting. 3 bucks, 3 does and 3 turkeys are allowed per membership. No guests are allowed after Dec 31 and no does are to be shot after Dec 31 to limit pressure during the rut. 2 workdays are required. All bucks must have at least 8 points and be mature. There are also hogs in the wet areas. Members sign out an area to hunt on first come basis each day on a sign out map. Personal stands are allowed. Dues are $1,200 and include turkey, deer, hogs, planting of deer plots, use of clubhouse, and use of skinning shed. We have 10 returning members and are looking for 4 new members.
