Just get settled in for the afternoon edition. I'm in a spot I have never set in. Sitting the edge of a hardwood bottom it's a long bottom with pines on 3 sides. Don't even know if there is a deer in here but there is sign. Got paw n law in a shooting house where he killed his yesterday. Wife is at the farm on a food plot where we got garholed this morning. Heading out with the wife in a bit. She hasn’t decided if she wants me to be the guide or she sitting by herself. We sitting in the pop up blind watching hay field and power line. Hope a good deer shows up.

Sitting on a high point overlooking a green field with hardwoods and creek bottom behind it, surrounded by 4 y/o loblollies. Got kicked out of CVIU room to go hunt by my old man who had the widowmaker heart attack less than 72 hours ago. Don’t give a rip if I see a thing, just out here thanking the lord for more time with my pops.
