Well I got my wish and had does all over me this evening and wouldn’t you know it I missed at 75 yards in the middle of a greenfield. Or at least that’s the conclusion I’ve come to. I couldnt find a speck of blood anywhere near shot site or where I watched her go in the thicket briariest thicket you could imagine. First deer I’ve missed in roughly 25 years (still hunting) shot a truckload of shells back when I dog hunted. I’m gonna come back to camp in the morning before church and look again and shoot my rifle because I still can’t wrap my mind around how I botched that shot. I feel the same way you do. Shot felt good and I know I didn't flinch. Gonna check my gun after church tomorrow before I go back in the woods. I have bumped it a couple times since I made sure it was good before season.
To GOD be All the glory!!!
