Nothing embarrassing about it. This is just the process that is in place that is working. I don't know, kinda looks like a clown show to me. Those 20 are showing the other 200 they think they are more important than them. I don't think any of the options for speaker is better than the other, but I'm ready for them to at least start the useless investigations. Need to get on with it and vote in McCarthy b/c the next option will be to change the rules to a simple majority and then those 20 won't have a choice unless they want a democrat to be speaker and they would look pretty damn stupid then. So you would be ok with the 90% telling you ( if you’re in the 10% that disagrees) to “sit down and shut up and vote the way we want you too”? That’s basically what’s happening here.
