McCarthy is a RINO poster boy. Fugg him.

Jordan will be much a better choice, but that's not saying much.

I don’t think McCarthy is the best choice or even a good choice. BUT this is why R will lose the house next election cycle. R need to get their shit straight

The R's are OK with losing if they think the RINO establishment is going to lose control of the party.

I still think elections have been manipulated since Biden's so called win and it happened again this last election cycle with all the Senate races with delayed results and this makes two elections stolen....so I don't think it will ever stop. Doubt Republicans will ever hold all three branches again and if they hold the House or Senate it will be razor thin margins where they won't get anything done.

This. The old America, where MANAGING national security, exports, inflation, GDP, debt, health care, etc is gone. Life long welfare programs (foreign and domestic) and discontentment in what we have has destroyed the America I love.

While the pundits proclaim the sky is falling and every minute there is unfinished business at hand they need to get going and they have to get going right this very minute....

That's a load of BS don't buy it. If they go forward without this fight.... are they going to do what they have been doing? And what is it that they have they been doing exactly?

That's what is at stake here.... Doing nothing but giving lip service while the Democrats win at every turn... or actually getting something done.

And if some of these people have a personal problem with McCarthy that's ok IMO as well.

Rhinos in the Senate have funded the Gubberment for the next year and cut the House off at it's knees...... The Democrat's are going to fight them on every single oversight issue while the DOJ won't do a dam thing about anything.

What's the rush? They are just rushing this through to effectively do nothing. Watch.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

This is aldeer. You've been on here long enough to know that you cannot just bring facts into the argument. This speaker issue should still be able to be blamed on Tubbs and Britt and you know it..

All the Alabama House republicans voted for McCarthy. Mike Rogers blackmailed them into voting for Mccarthy

No, some republicans would have to vote for the Democrat too. It takes 218 votes, not enough democrats to reach 218.

From what I'm listening to, PATRIOT sirusXM, McCarthy isn't agreeing to bringing these items up for vote on the house floor if he becomes speaker.
Term limits
Texas type boarder security
Balanced budget to reduce the national debt

Plus he feels that he's entitled to the position because, "he's paid his dues."
