They can keep voting for an R to be Speaker, or at some point the Dems can quit enjoying watching them founder like dumbasses and put up a candidate they want. That candidate likely would be a "moderate" and palatable to the Rs in some way, and the Dems would have their person in the seat.
Idiots. The House is the only thing standing between the Senate and WH running roughshod. But Marge, Gaetz and 8-10 others are holding fast. They want the ability to replace the Speaker easier, should he or she not be to their liking once voted in, along with some other procedural things.
