130 or 140 grain Partitions/Accubonds is what I would use for your application.

I know it goes against the rules of Aldeer but don’t underestimate light bullets at 200 yards or less
My stepson shoots 110 vmax in his 270 and it’s stupid instant death. He started shooting coyotes with them but the gun loves them and never had anything shot with one take a step

Been shooting the 130's for years. No complaints.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I’ve just seen really good results from the ttsx so that’s why I’m leaning towards them but not dead set I've never heard a bad thing about them either so I dont blame you for wanting to try them. Ive thought about trying the 120 grain ttsx in my 7mm-08 since everyone talks so highly of it but just haven't bought any to try yet.

I’ve shot the 120s in a 7mm-08 but my buddies have 270s and 270wsm and they have had good results too I just got done taking an old Remington model 700bdl and putting a hogue stock cerakote everything tungsten and put a timney trigger in it so just trying to find what I load it with If you like 120 grainers, give the 120 grain NBTs a try in your 7-08. Those things are awesome.

Core-Lokts in 150 grains are my go-to choice! They have worked well for me for over 50 years. One can buy a Lexus or a Hyundai and both get the job done. One just costs a whole lot more than the other one.
My $0.02

My 270 loves the 140 grain Berger hybrid hunter and that leaves big hole
Your gun can tell u what it likes by accuracy - experience w deer kills can tell what bullet does

My $0.02 It's my understanding that normal corelokts aren't in production
We will burn that bridge when we get there

I would pick a softer bullet with a higher BC if you're going past 400 yards.

I am sure ttsx bullets will be fine. I would go 130-140gr. But for whitetail I prefer a softer bullet that dumps all the energy into the target. My personal experience is that the ttsx didn’t do that much damage and exit hole want huge either. Great bullet for larger game I am sure.
