No no, let’s get it straight here. Tubbs voted yes to let the bill basically go up for negotiation. As did 24 other Republicans. The Republicans could have all voted no, along with the other true conservatives, and this would have been tabled until the new Congress was sworn in. But they decided to let it move forward and see what kind of pork they could get out of the deal. Tubbs voted no on the final measure because he is going to run for re-election. Shelby doesn’t give a damn and was a Dem anyhow so he voted with his peer group, along with that asshat Lindsey Graham. Bout time a lot of folks wised up and realized that voting Republican is no different than voting Democrat. The establishment of both parties want to spend us into bankruptcy. The establishment GOP only wants the conservative vote on Election Day, after that they won’t represent anything remotely conservative.
