That's cool to hear them going like that in December. The most gobbling I've ever heard in AL in one day was a group of 16 that had been together since they were jakes. They got started on a cold morning and when one would gobble, every one of them would gobble. They gobbled several hundred times and you could multiply that by 16 to get the total number of gobbles I heard that day. They stayed together until the 2nd day of turkey season and then started dying off at an alarming rate. Congrats on getting to hear that, and hope you have a great turkey season with them.

I e heard one or two gobble a lot in December but never 2 wads like this. We have these gobblers on game cam and the hens too. I didn’t know about the other group which was 400 yards past the first group and right next to my ladder stand over the water.

Hope they hang around in the spring. I used to hunt a place that was covered up with toms and would disappear in spring They usually stay unless we get a big flood.

The last 2 left were well educated though
