I ranged them at 140 yards and settled in on the center of his neck because that’s all I had. Thankfully I hit true but don’t make a habit of it. That was in 2008. I don’t recall taking another neck shot since. A 1” high or low impact is the difference in DRT or temporarily concussed and running into the next county 10 minutes later. I just don’t see the point in taking high risks shots when there’s a 12-16” circle of lung, heart and liver to shoot.
