Guess I need some range time. 4 does came in, 100yds, took my time, wasnât nervous, did everything I knew to do, and missed. Real bummed, guess Iâll try tomorrow but seems pointless. I wouldnât underestimate yourself. What did you âdoâ that you knew to do? Many a deer acted like they werenât hit and died later as they ran out of the field/area. How do you know you missed? Lack of blood or hair doesnât mean anything. Nothing personal, but most hunters canât find where the deer was standing when shot, nor where the deer was at when last seen. God Bless, David B.

^^^^ I thought lot deer I hit didnât act hit
Also - check your gun - many a guy missed a deer caise his scope was off
And sometimes depending on what u shoot and where hit - May not bleed lot
Amd I would not give up - I got in a stretch of misses. Started practicing lot more. Also always thought I had to pull my trigger a mile to go off. Took to gun smith - had 8 pounds pressure on it - awful - it prob at 2 now I practice lot every year and still not miss proof
My son was great in range - awful shooting deer - I got a deathgrip bog pod - helped him lot - when I hunt ground blind I use it
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

Lack of blood or hair doesnât mean anything. Nothing personal, but most hunters canât find where the deer was standing when shot, nor where the deer was at when last seen. God Bless, David B. Deer was standing directly next to the only tree in a field. It was a pretty easy reference point. Deer ran off, stopped and looked back, and then ran off the rest of the way. I spent a lot of time walking the area and saw nothing. Friend and I went back the next day and grid searched the whole area for a couple of hours. But yes I agree about finding the spot where the deer was and where it was last seen. Not taken personally. But again, I feel like I had a pretty obvious reference point. Gonna go to the range this weekend just to make sure the scope is fine. Maybe it was just me, but wanna make sure before I go out again.
