As a young kid I went along with my dad, and a friend of his, digging under bluffs one day.
There was a large piece of rock that had apparently fell from the bluff ceiling and together they struggled to lift it up so they could dig where it was setting. Once they picked it up there were two perfect large heads laying side by side under it. They looked like tomahawk heads to me but seems like they said they were scrapers or something like that. Seems like they were ~5” long each.
It was pretty neat finding them just by moving a large rock.
As you can tell I’m not really into “looking under one big rock for a bunch of little rocks” , but dad loves it.
I’ll try to get a pic of the one dad kept and see if you gurus can identify it.
