I’d been out-of-town for work since Monday morning, but I was able to get home at 4:10 this afternoon. I took a quick scent free shower, grabbed my bow and necessities, and headed to my Cullman County property near the house. I got in my ladder stand at 5:00 and had shot my best bow buck ever by 6:00. I think I made a good shot, but only got 10” of penetration as my arrow hit him in the back edge of the shoulder. I never heard him crash, but I think he’s gotta be dead nearby. The other younger bucks with him all came back into the foodplot within a couple of minutes. No sign of my buck, though
