Just got in a tree behind my house about an hour ago. All of the bucks have been coming through between 10-12 the last few days.

I see more bucks that time of the day than any other seems like. After 30 years of being chased by the army I think it’s in their blood now. They not dumb

Nope, that’s usually when everyone has gone out for breakfast or lunch. I hunted a large farm in south Alabama for 27 years and the biggest deer killed was around 10:30 in the morning when we were walking back in after breakfast. My grandfather let a big 10 point walk and 15 minutes later a 22 point came out. That place had some giants roaming around until word got out about that big deer being killed.

It is full moon. Middle of the day during a full moon is usually pretty good.

Agreed. They’re up moving around all night because they can see. Sleep through the morning and back up around lunch.

Just had a lone fawn under my stand for about 30 minutes. No other deer seen so far.

Walked up on a big yote on the way out. Stalked within 50yds of him with no shot, gave him a lip squeak and he ran at me to 15. Couldn’t get drawn and get on him before he saw me and bolted though. It was fun

Saw 12. 11 does and yearlings and an absolute stud of a 6 point at 5 yrds on the wrong side of the tree. He saw me but didn't spook, just turned and strolled back off the direction he came.

I was at the game. Probably could have killed a fan or two 🤣

Found her about 7:15 he smoked her right through the chest and she didn’t go but 100 yards maybe. Just didn’t find anything at the hit sight which is typical in my experience with chest shots. He is only 6 but is a absolute killer with a gun and now a crossbow lol I’m fired up about it.

No-see-ums literally ate my hands up! Did see several deer and even had 8 within 30 yards. Was my very first day of hunting with a longbow and I scored on a 117 lb doe at 25 yards.
