I've posted this before but thought it was a good time to repeat. If you're lucky and you take very good care of your trail cam, you may go past 3 years of use, MAYBE. If you leave your cam in the woods way before and long after hunting season, I don't see it lasting longer than that. Remember, these are Chinese made (99%) and manufacture warranty is 1 year and they are not repairable. BUT you can buy from walmart and get a 3-year warranty for $22, you can have a little peace about leaving them out in the woods. It's a no questions asked warranty, they replace it, give you an equal camera or give you your money back. In total, I have returned 3 bushnell cameras to walmart, I always asked for my money back. If the camera gives me any problem at all, I immediately make the claim. It does take about 3-4 weeks to get the check in the mail but it does arrive. My second option is to purchase from www.trailcampro.com. These guys give you a 1 year warranty on top of the manufacture warranty, no questions asked. I have never had to return a camera to these guys but it's because I bought my Reconyx cameras from them and they are solid and come with a 5 year manufacture warranty and just as a side note, repairable if broken but they are high dolla !! Also, if you're wondering what camera is the best or the test results from any camera, www.trailcampro.com posts all their test results and gives their opinion of the pros and cons of each camera. Note, if they dont have the camera in their list, it's because they deem the camera absolute junk and not worth posting or selling. They will not sell a camera thats junk because again, they offer a 1 year warranty after manufacture warranty. Today I'm purchasing another Gen 2 tactacam (birthday) and getting the 3 year warranty. Costs a little more but I know when I stick that camera on the tree I'm good for 3 years.

Jake, thank for the input but I'm not interested in picture quality. I'm interested in knowing whats coming to my stand. For me right now, these little babies have a great trigger time so I don't catch the ass end only. I agree, for more you can get more but for now, the 4 I already have have proven themselves perfect for what I need.

Thought I'd add this since previous post did not state they would refund money. I purchased the cam today, they sent me a link to the site where I could file a claim and I just copied the first page to show you they will. States that the last day I can file a claim on this camera is October 7, 2025. Worth the $22 to me.

I have bears halfway across the cam at 15yds before pics are taken lol This one bear has come by 2x. Both times he's made it to the tree and stood up before pics are taken. No pic before or after and they definitely miss pictures as previously stated. I get a lot of ass shots as well. I think I have 7 Tactacams. I do know they miss more pics than my Moultrie 7k's
