So my Dr says the only thing to fix my right shoulder is a complete replacement, and I'm gonna put that off as long as possible. I have bow hunted since 1977, but my career is over. I tried to pull my bow back and can't do it. I don't know if it's worth the hassle of selling it or not. What do you guys think? Is it too old and for anyone to want it? It's a Matthews DXT Solocam and looks like this: ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/C1pRVVz0/PXL-20220927-213320589.jpg) Accessories include a Mueller Quick Shot electronic sight. I've also got a couple of conventional sights. It has an Ultra Rest HD arrow rest, a 6 arrow quiver, dampeners installed, and a Truball release. I've got about 20 aluminum arrows with assorted other stuff I've accumulated over the years. It's a 50 to 60 lb bow with a 29" draw length. I believe it's a 2008 model. I don't have any idea what it's worth or if there is any demand for a bow this old. Anyone got an idea of what it's worth? The only thing I can see keeping is my broadheads; might eventually get an Xbow. I have always given away my old bows in the past, but I've never gotten rid of everything before. Thanks for any ideas

I gave up and switched to a crossbow several years ago. That’s a nice bow don’t give it away. It should easily be worth 300 or 400 bucks. You better go ahead and get it replaced now. I wouldn’t risk missing Turkey season.

You ought to be able to get $400 out of it easy. Looks to be in excellent shape.

Thanks for all the replies. There was a time when a 14 yr old bow was so obsolete that nobody wanted one. Maybe by 2008 there wasn't as much to improve on them. I have usually hunted 3 or 4 times a year with it and it stays on a shelf the rest of the year. I wonder if the Mueller is actually detracting from it. I love the sight, but most bowhunters must not like it; never see anyone else using one. Should I put 3 pin sight back on if I sell it? The Mueller looks new and is probably worth $75 sold separately.

Good luck with the sale. Id be interested if you had long ape arms like me. ![laugh laugh](/forum/images/graemlins/default/laugh.gif) If you think you want to maximize the price Id put the other sight on it and then offer the other to the seller or sell it separately. But, that is kind of a hassle.

But, that is kind of a hassle. I think you are right on maximizing value. I've checked eBay and saw some DXTs sell for over $300. Mine averaged getting used about 3 times a season, so it looks almost new. I thought I had a trade worked out for an Xbow, but his son decided he couldn't give up the Xbow. So I have this case, arrows, sight and stabilizer in addition to everything in the other picture. How much should I ask for it? Maybe somebody who doesn't wanna buy it will answer. ![smile smile](/forum/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif) . Thanks! ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/ZKLM0rrG/PXL-20221003-223858974.jpg)

Shaw or somebody else probably knows more than me, but you have a complete set up with even a release. The aluminum arrows might turn off some newbies. It is a really nice looking bow for somebidy looking for a kid starting out. $500 would be reaonable to me with $400 being a steal. Thanks! The aluminum arrows are for someone who wants to actually kill the deer. ![smile smile](/forum/images/graemlins/default/smile.gif)

That case included - $450-500 sounds good - could start 500 and work down
Shaw and some of those guys would know more
