Definitely looks like it will bring some rain to the area if it holds up. Question is, will this make you rush to plant this weekend if you haven't already? I'm not a fan of a monsoon on my seeds personally. I'll probably still hold out for a better time in early-mid October. We've done set our date for October 22nd which sounds to me.
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
