$40/drum near me, was $35/drum last season.

Either farmers made bank last yr or going in the hole that yr. I know seed, fertilizer, roundup and diesel have increased more than that % since last yr🤷🏼‍♂️

Corn was selling for $10.60/bushel at Grain Pak in Guntersville Friday. December '22 corn prices at closing Friday was $6.77/bushel according to DTN, I doubt we'll see it that low.

That $6.77 is not what the consumer pays. In order to have $7 corn for you and me that's going to be $3.50 corn at the grain elevator.

We are selling it for $60 a drum. I don't see how other farmers are selling it for less than that and making any profit. I can haul it to the mill and and never touch it for more than that.

The local feed store is around 70 something a drum he’s gotta make a tad for handling it tho…

Yeah we are making a little more per barrel but we have to stop working and handle it.

Yea I know that. I feed about 12-15 TONS of corn a year finishing beef and try to buy most all of it directly from the farmer. I'm putting in a 15 ton bin now to be able to buy and store more from him in bulk.
