Been signing up for every dang hunt and haven't gotten chosen. They can take my preference points and shove them
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

This year I signed up for the gun hunts only. Says I signed up for 39 hunts. 2 pts each hunt is what it shows on mine.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Me too. I have never been picked for a hunt yet and I have been trying since the state started the SOA hunts.

So you have to buy a WMA license before you even can apply? Is there a charge for the WMA license? Yeah about $20

Selling a license for something most won't use. Most of us were going to buy a WMA license anyways. I actually agree with having to buy a WMA license before you apply. If you’re going to make people who are already hunting public land buy something extra the people who are just wanting to hunt SOAs should also. With that being said I don’t think you should have to buy a WMA license at all to hunt a WMA.

I think if hunters have to buy a WMA permit all users of the WMA (hikers, bird watchers, kayakers etc) should too.

Read the Louisiana thread, it doesn’t move me. I agree there’s too much money wasted on programs to keep people disincentivized from work. But money spent on conservation and public lands is a much better spend than the myriad of boondoggles otherwise funded from confiscation of dollars from our wallets. Without money from fees and taxes there wouldn’t be a huntable population of deer.
