I went and toured the place about 6 or 7 years ago. There's even some old posts on here about it. I don't even remember how I found out about the place. But the ol' fella in charge, sent me all kinds of big buck pictures that he and supposed other members had killed on the club, it convinced me to go take a look. I'm sure some has change, but the land they had was spread all over the dang place. Some pieces like 45 mins apart. I didn't like that. We visited several pieces that day. Now I don't claim to be Daniel Boone, but I can read deer sign. And the majority of the property just didn't have many deer. It also didn't have much suitable turkey habitat. There was one piece way off by itself and it was loaded with deer sign. It was like a 450 acre tract. It was at about that point the fella (who was a retired law enforcement officer) that touted himself as the VP that was showing us around decide to show us how they go about setting up (at that time illegal) baiting sights so they would be hard to find by anyone including a game warden. Needless to say, I was anything but impressed and didn't join. Shortly after I left, it came to light that the deer pics he was shopping around as being killed on the club were actually killed on other properties, and some by people not even affiliated with the club. And that the ol' president didn't even hunt the club himself, and was *supposedly using members lease money to lease other properties which he kept for himself and buddies. sounds like a place in Sumter county I was once in

We just started last year. Cut one guy loose for killing wrong size deer. Two guys left because they found a lease of their own but would be glad to let you talk to them and I can send you pics of the deer they killed.

Assume you are familiar with their guest and family rules. There’s a reason so many only wasted one year. It’s the club not them if there’s this many just on this forum think about how many one timers there really are.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

My beef is that people will post that they hunted one year thereby inferring that there is a problem but won’t descrjbe their problem. For all we know they were asked to leave. Not one person has stepped up and voiced their personal complaint against the club. It apparently has some appeal to a lot of folks. Umm.. I did.
Turkeys be damned.

Five people posted here that they were members for one year. I suspect that if you take a survey of 100 hunters who are members of any clubs you will find that is not at all unusual. I dont have a dog in the fight but It seems that for a club that large to have existed so long it must have many satisfied members
