My poult flock with their hens are now decimating the chufas. I don't want them digging them before the tubers mature, but I decided to not try to keep them out. The poults are about as big as the hens and it's hard to tell how many survived. I don't see them except when they are running out of the patch and don't have an accurate count, but it looks like more than we've ever had.
Same here. They've wrecked my plots. I've got some volunteer WGF sorghum I'm going to leave standing in hopes that it will last through the fall.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
