It's not, though. It's an average sandwich that's probably worth $4-5 max.

A big mac currently costs $4 and it's not 1/2 of the amount of real beef as what's in a Bucee's brisket sandwich.

Their bbq sandwich is nothing special.....it tastes like what I'd expect if Arby's decided to offer a bbq sandwich...

Stuckey's didn't keep up with the times and relied on nostalgia to carry them along. Bad business decisions and a mom 'n pop mentality in a rapidly changing world.

Buc-ee's is just a bigger version of Stuckey's. Bathrooms are nice, though.

The Stuckey's heiress is trying to revive the brand, in part with the nostalgia.

You're assuming folks eat Big Macs. I haven't had a Bic Mac in over 30 years, and wouldn't give you $1 for one right now.

Stuckey’s was in Jim Stanford song “The Steak”. Used to be one on I-24 at the bottom of Monteagle Mtn Pelham TN exit. Had to get dad a pecan log every time I gassed by there back in the late 70’s into 80’s.

Added: if you street view it there’s a bunch of TBI and State Troopers in the parking lot. They look to be having a pre action breifing.

I haven’t been to a Bucees yet. I’ve Seen the signs on I10 but it’s still a long drive. I may have to check it out one of these days.

I was driving back to Florida on I-10 from Mobile and the highway was busy as usual. I noticed all the cars in the left lane putting their signal on and moving over to the right lane. I thought maybe there was something in the road up ahead. As I passed the Buc-ee's exit every car in the right lane exited and the road was almost empty until the on-ramp came up and was full of folks getting back on after Buc-ee's!

I am guessing hunterbuck doesn't eat out very often. I know prices have gone up over the years (I remember when I could get a meal deal at Burger King for less than $4.00), but lately everything has increased significantly compared to just a couple years ago.

Most of the people on here don’t like much of nothing. I love the place. Looking forward to visiting the new locations in Alabama and the one in Sevierville on the way to Gatlinburg. The first one that I stopped at was halfway between San Antonio and Houston about fifteen years ago.

The fact that you can purchase women's swimsuits in Buc-ee's with the beaver logo on it . . . . What I'm saying is that Buc-ee's is a gas station where you can (and people do) buy swimsuits -- I'm trying to decide what I think of that. My son has boxer shorts underwear with the Buc-ee's beaver on it. Hmmm. He purchased the underwear along side of a brisket sandwich, a bag of Buc-ee's nuggets, and some Duke Cannon aftershave. This is why America is great.
